Slight chance of showers early becoming mostly clear

Happy Thursday!  Concern for freezing conditions this morning is minimal but there are some pockets of colder air in the southern parts of the forecast area.  Additionally, fog cannot be ruled out, but isn't particularly expected on your commute this morning.

Today brings a slight chance of some spotty showers throughout the morning before gradually becoming sunny.  Temperatures will still be slightly above average but things look to be cooling off a bit over night tonight and tomorrow.  Snow levels are still quite high but will likely descend to the 4000 foot range by Friday.

Currently we are tracking low pressure slowly making its way towards coastal Washington today and then sliding southward along the coastline towards California through the weekend bringing cooler air into the area and back down to closer to average temperature ranges.

Wind has died down significantly as of this morning and will be out of the south in the 5-15mph range with a few areas experiencing gusts up to 20mph throughout the day.

Highs will be in the 40s and 50s and overnight lows will be in the 20s and 30s.
