Smoky conditions with mild temperatures
Happy weekend Central Oregon!
It’ll be nice and quiet on Saturday with highs in the middle 70s.
The more active day will be Sunday as some rain is expected to arrive in a few locations. Nothing widespread, but just scattered showers and maybe an isolated thunderstorm.
Highs will be in the upper 50s and low 60s Sunday under mostly sunny skies.
Fires have not grown much over the past two days, but the Little Lava and the Firestone and Flat Top Fires are proving to keep the high desert, smoky, though not growing in size.
The rain and cooler temperatures on Sunday will help tremendously.
