Entering a dry pattern for the remainder of the work week
Highs today will be in the low to mid 40s. We are almost 10 degrees below normal for this time of year in Bend. Skies will be mostly cloudy. Lows tonight will be in the 20s. The perfect weather to cast your vote, if you haven’t already.
Most of the region remains dry today. There is a chance for some snowflakes to fall in the eastern Blue Mountains before noon. Prineville could see a couple raindrops or flakes but I think for the most part, precipitation will remain to the east of us.
Yesterday was windy and today will be on the breezy side again. We won’t see as windy conditions, but expects gusts 20-25mph. There is a Wind Advisory in portions around Highway 97 in Jefferson and Deschutes County and into Crook county along US26. It expires this morning at 7am.
Following today, we enter a drying pattern. A ridge of high pressure will start to build into Oregon which will keep us drier and allow our temperatures to rise. We’ll slowly see a heat up each day until the end of the week. By Friday, a few areas will even tip into the 60s again.
Happy Tuesday!
