Dry and mild weekend

KTVZ

Happy Saturday!

This cool and dry pattern is sticking around through the weekend. Highs reached the upper-40s to low-50s across the region today.

Expect a clear night ahead, with chilly temperatures dipping into the 20s and teens.

Sunday's weather will be similar to today—dry and sunny. There could be some clouds moving in tomorrow night.

We'll enjoy several more days without rain or snow, with the dry, cold pattern continuing to bring "bluebird days" to the Cascades. If you are planning to hit the local ski resorts this weekend, it will be dry and mostly sunny.

Tomorrow begins the meteorological winter, defined by the three coldest months of the year in the northern hemisphere. The astronomical winter begins on the 21st of December. This will be the shortest day of the year before the daylight hours become longer.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
