Chilly and dry start to the work week

Good Monday morning!

After a few spotty showers earlier this morning, we're expecting things to dry up. Temps dropped into the 20s overnight so we're waking up to icy conditions.

Dry and crisp are the best words to sum up the final days of 2024.

Today will be cloudy, but the sunshine will be peeking through this afternoon. Highs will range from the mid-30s to the low 40s across the area. Temperatures are near normal.

We have a chilly night ahead with lows dropping into the 20s and teens. Partly cloudy skies are expected, along with the chance of patchy fog developing after 10 p.m.

Don't get too comfortable to the dry weather, another wet system is in store. New Year’s Eve is Tuesday, with highs reaching the mid to upper 30s.

The day will be mostly dry, but a mix of rain and snow showers is expected to develop overnight. Snow accumulation is expected to remain light.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
