Quiet and chilly Sunday ahead

KTVZ

Happy Saturday!

Who's enjoying the quiet and chilly weather today? If you are, you'll be happy to know that's what we'll be seeing for the rest of the weekend.

Today was mostly sunny as the cold front that pushed through yesterday cleared out much of mist and fog. There may be a few lingering snow showers along the crests of the Cascades, but besides that no precipitation is in the picture.

Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures falling into the teens and 20s.

We're staying dry as we move into Sunday. Expect partly sunny skies with chilly afternoon highs ranging from the mid 30s to low 40s.

We could possibly be dealing with some patchy freezing fog in parts of the region tomorrow through Monday.

The dry stretch looks to continue for at least the next seven days — a nice break from the wet weather!

Enjoy the rest of your day.
