Increasing clouds, warming trend ahead

Today's sunny and dry conditions made it a great day to get outside. The one concern was patches of black ice which created some slippery conditions this morning.

Overnight lows will drop into the 20s under partly cloudy skies.

Expect increasing clouds moving into Friday. There’s potential for late afternoon rain tomorrow, but we’re leaning towards a dry day.

There are high rain chances in the Cascades tomorrow with minor high mountain snow.

A warming trend continues, with highs reaching 4-8 degrees above normal by Saturday across Central Oregon. Temperatures will rise into the 50s, possibly approaching 60 by the end of the weekend.

We’ll be getting some rainfall on those days with consistent and widespread showers Sunday.

Warmer weather will melt the snow, sending extra water into rivers and streams. This could mean the potential for some minor flooding.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
