Winds are strong this morning, as you step outside. Windy conditions will continue through the afternoon. The High Wind Warning expires at 4pm tonight. Look for winds to gust between 40-50mph again today until about noon, then calming down.

Rain and snow are lingering early this morning but will quickly taper off and leave us with partly cloudy skies for the rest of the day. Drier weather will take over for the rest of the week.

A Winter Weather Advisory is active until this evening along the Cascades, the eastern slopes, and areas south of Bend. Strong winds and newly fallen snow could create visibility issues and travel concerns, especially through the passes. Drive safely.

Temperatures this afternoon are cooling a few degrees from yesterday. We’ll see highs top out in the mid 40s to low 50s. Lows tonight will be in the 20s and teens.

Our temperatures will rise again quickly tomorrow back into the mid and upper 50s and are expected to rise even more through the week. We’ll see a few areas start tipping into the 60s on Thursday and Friday will be our warmest day of the week.

Happy Tuesday and have a good day today.
