The mild weather is moving in!
This weekend is looking a lot quieter than last weekend.
Today's weather has been partly to mostly cloudy, with a few light rain showers.
Overnight lows will drop into the 30s later under cloudy skies. We're not seeing any active watches or warnings for our region at this time.
Another round of mountain precipitation is expected from tomorrow morning through early Sunday afternoon, bringing a mix of rain and snow showers to the Cascades.
Expect partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions on Sunday, with mild temperatures ranging from the 50s to the low 60s. Rain chances remain very low, but a spot shower is possible in the Crook and Jefferson County areas.
This drier, milder trend will continue into early next week. Temperatures will be even warmer on Monday and Tuesday, hitting the 70s in some spots. Expect plenty of sunshine as a weak ridge of high pressure settles in.
The warmer temperatures will continue into Wednesday, keeping us 15-20 degrees above normal.
However, this stretch of warm, sunny weather will be brief, as an incoming low pressure system brings cooler temperatures and rain showers later in the week.
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!
