Lingering rain today before we clear up and heat up mid week
Lingering, spotty showers are expected today. Not everyone will see rain, but everyone has the slim chance to. Today, Sisters residents have the best chance at getting caught under a rain cloud, since showers will struggle to breach the Cascades and travel east.
A ridge of high pressure will build into the region on Wednesday, which will clear out the skies and heat us up. Temperatures are near normal today but will climb into the 60s tomorrow. The ridge will begin to move east Thursday, but lingering effects will have us in the upper 60s and low to mid 70s Thursday afternoon.
We begin to cool on Friday, but still holding on to the 60s for many. There is a chance for rain Friday and Saturday as the next system dips in. It’s lacking moisture and power, so it’s not entirely convincing we’ll see anything as of yet, but I’ve listed it as a slight chance for now. There could be a few rogue raindrops. I’ll continue to monitor any changes.
Happy Tuesday! Have a nice day.
