We have one more day of full sun before things start switching up on us. Look for highs to rise into the upper 50s and low to mid 60s this afternoon under clear skies.

Thursday is the warmest day of the week but also a transition day. Temperatures will hit the mid to upper 60s, with the potential for a couple areas to tip into the 70s. Clouds will increase through the afternoon. Rain will fall west and south Thursday evening, but Central Oregon should stay dry. Sisters and La Pine could see a few raindrops fall before the end of the day Thursday, but you can plan for dry weather until early Friday when widespread rain is expected to return in the high desert.

Showers will continue into Saturday but will taper off into Sunday, with drier weather to kick off next week.

Mountain snow is in the forecast for the Friday to Saturday time frame. Not much is expected, but it should be a nice springtime refresher after this dry spell. High elevation areas above 5000ft also have a slight chance to see a dusting on lawns and grassy areas, but for the most part, snow stays high in the mountains.

Happy Wednesday! Have a great day.
