Partial clearing and mild this weekend

Today we will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with some light rain before sunrise, but not much past that time frame. There may be some storms today in eastern Oregon this afternoon, and a few may drift west into Crook County. Nothing severe is expected, but dangerous lightning may occur at times. Unfortunately, it only takes on strike to start a fire or destroy a structure.

Sunday will be partly cloudy with temps in the low 60s.  The storms are still expected in Oregon, but mostly toward the Idaho border.  The winds will be on the breezy to windy side as the storms pull away from Oregon later in the day.

Monday will be slightly milder with highs in the upper 60s under partly to mostly sunny skies.  Tuesday will provide us with some light rain in the morning then clearing by the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 60s. We close out the work week in the 70s, possibly hitting 80 on Thursday.

Please stay safe.
