Plenty of sunshine Wednesday and a small taste of summer

Enjoy the sunny pattern and get out to enjoy what the region has to offer. Golf is a good option this week, maybe a bike ride or a nice hike or just a walk.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy with slightly warmer with the temps reaching the upper 70s and a few 80-degree locations. Winds will be noticeable but not overwhelming and there may be a slight chance of a shower over the Cascades, but very low chance.

Thursday brings in the sunshine once again and we see slightly cooler air than Wednesday, but still above normal. Highs reach the low to middle 70s.

Warming up to end the work week and heading into the weekend. Highs will top out in the low 80s both Friday and Saturday.  A dry cold front passes through the region Saturday night and cools us down for Sunday.

Clouds move in Sunday, Mother’s Day, also as the day moves along and there may be some light rain. Highs are only expected to reach the middle 60s.

The better chance for some widespread rain will be on Monday. Showers will linger into Tuesday.

Please stay safe.
