Temperatures today are in the low to mid 70s. Skies will be mostly clear and winds will be light. Overnight lows drop down into the 30s and 40s.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with afternoon highs reaching the 80s across the region. You’ll notice a few more clouds in the sky, but should still be able to enjoy the summer-feel conditions. Drink water and wear sunscreen for those soaking it in!

Temperatures will start to cool by Saturday as the high pressure exits and a low pressure approaches. You can plan for highs in the 70s under partly cloudy skies. Clouds will increase into the night. Winds will be noticeably breezy through the afternoon.

By Sunday, the low pressure arrives and has our temperatures dropping back to near normal, in the low to mid 60s. Rain is expected to return Sunday with scattered showers continuing through Monday. Rain should be minimal and light, but you might find yourself wanting to adjust Mother’s Day plans or pack an umbrella, just in case. Stay tuned into KTVZ for the latest on timing as we approach the holiday.

Happy Thursday! Have a nice day.
