Near normal Memorial Day but a warm summer-feel week ahead

After a warm weekend, Central Oregon is cooling slightly, back down to near normal. Plan for temperatures ranging from the middle 60s to low 70s. Whatever lingering showers there are will clear early today, but clouds will hang around. Look for mostly to partly cloudy skies today.

Today is the only mild day this week because a large ridge of high pressure will build into the region and keep us warm for the next seven days. The ridge will extend as far north as Canada. This will have our temperatures in the 80s all week, and even tipping into the low 90s at times.

Areas are expected to have their first 90-degree day of the year. Make sure you’re staying hydrated and taking breaks if you must.

It looks like a dry and mostly sunny week ahead. There’s a disturbance that rolls through mid week, but doesn’t appear to impact us too much, aside from some potential breezy winds. Tune into KTVZ News for the latest updates.

Have a safe Memorial Day and a wonderful week ahead!
