Increasing clouds through the weekend with a slight chance of a stray shower on sunday

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

You’ll notice more clouds in the sky today as moisture from the south has made its way to us. Conditions today will stay warm and dry, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Plan for the 80s again on Saturday. Skies will start with a few clouds but clouds will increase into the evening. Rain and storm chances should stay south and east.

By Sunday, a cold front will approach and help to bring cooler temperatures and slight chances for rain. Look for highs to drop back down to near normal, only reaching the upper 60s and low to mid 70s. There is a chance for a few raindrops here or there, but most of the clouds will have rained themselves out by the time they make it to the eastern slopes. Don’t worry about a wash out, chances are slim and spotty so you probably won't see much.

Monday is the autumnal equinox, which means that Sunday is the last official day of summer. We’ll continue to feel like summer for a couple days before temperatures drop again.

Have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!
