Mild and dry for the first half of the week, cool and wet late week
Bend, OR (KTVZ) -
If you haven’t turned on your heat just yet, you might find yourself doing it this morning or later tonight because we are starting the week off with early morning temperatures in the 20s and 30s. A Freeze Warning is active for areas along 97 from Warm Springs to Bend, until 10am. Sensitive plants and outdoor plumbing could be affected.

Afternoon highs will be comfortable and near normal today, in the 60s. Overnight, temperatures will drop back into the 20s and 30s.
You’ll see highs in the 70s tomorrow under mostly sunny skies. The mild and dry pattern continues through mid week. The first half of the week will provide many opportunities to get outdoors and check out all the changing colors across Central Oregon.
Changes are coming by late Wednesday or early Thursday. A low pressure trough will be dropping in and will bring showers, chances for mountain snow, and progressively cooling temperatures. Off and on rain chances will continue through the weekend. By this weekend, look for temperatures to drop into the 50s.
Happy Monday! Have a great day.
