Active wet pattern expected to take over this week

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

Bring out your rain gear and hold onto it because the region is setting up for an active weather pattern all week. Rain chances begin today and will continue through Friday, with a clearing possible over the weekend.

The majority of your day will be dry and cloudy but a few spotty showers are possible late in the afternoon.

Tomorrow morning will be cloudy. Showers are expected to become more widespread starting Tuesday. Timing for rain tomorrow is around lunchtime and will fall into the night. Rain totals will be around a tenth to a quarter inch.

Off and on rain continues Wednesday. Thursday will be another wet day but showers should taper off Friday. Right now, the weekend looks dry but we’ll continue to track any potential changes over the next few days.

Temperatures are in the 50s all week, hovering near or just above seasonal averages. Winds will get breezy at times throughout the week.

Daylight Saving Time ended yesterday so wee are back to Standard Time. You can plan for sunsets before 5pm from here on out.

Happy Monday. Have a nice day.
