Widespread showers and soaking rain this week, gusty winds at times

Rain will begin around lunchtime today. Widespread, steady rain showers are expected to continue into the night. Rain totals will be between a tenth and quarter inch today.
Wetting rain will continue off and on through Wednesday and Thursday but start to taper off early Friday. The rain is always welcome in Central Oregon, especially early in the season.

Winds will be stronger further south and west. A High Wind Warning will be active in portions of Klamath and Lake County from 10pm tonight until 4pm Wednesday. Wind gusts could reach near 60mph in these areas. With the rain soaking the ground, vegetation or trees could be loose and topple over a little easier, which could cause power outages. Winds could an impact travel, especially for high profile vehicles.
Plan for temperatures in the 50s all week but with rain and wind, it might feel cooler than the actual temperature at times.
Happy Tuesday. Have a nice day.
