Still mild, rain tapers off tonight, some clearing Friday
(KTVZ, Bend Ore). Spotty light rain showers are expected to speckle the Tri-counties today through this evening, then taper off overnight. Very little rain is expected and since we are in the 60s today it will be all rain. The snow levels are very high, so mountain passes should not be impacted.
Friday will be another mild day with high temps in the upper 50s to low 60s. Partly cloudy skies are expected and the region will remain well above our normal 50-degree high once again.

Saturday provides us with, possibly, the last mild day for a while as highs reach the low 60s. Sunny to partly cloudy skies will define the day and winds are not expected to impact the region.
Sunday will be mild as well, but there will be an increase in cloud cover as the day moves along. The increasing cloudiness is ahead of rain and snow that is expected to arrive overnight into Monday.
Rain arrives over the Cascades after sunset and will quickly transition to some light snow and a wintry mix. Across the tri-counties there will be a mix of rain and snow that will become mostly snow before sunrise. The snow and some mix will be present for the morning commute, but since the ground is no where near frozen, I expect little to no accumulation of snow. Slushy roads are more than likely what we will have to deal with.
Mountain passes will be impacted early Monday, so allow some extra time to cross the Cascades.
Partial clearing is expected later Monday and Tuesday will be dry. The next chance for some rain and snow will be late Wednesday or early Thursday.
Please, Stay safe.
