Tracking light rain on Sunday, cooling trend ahead
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - What a beautiful day in Central Oregon! Skies cleared up nicely in the afternoon and temperatures stayed on the mild side. Enjoy it while it's here, because we're getting ready to transition to cool and wet weather.
A low pressure system moves in Sunday, which will bring light rain to the region. Expect off-and-on showers throughout the day along with breezy conditions tomorrow. Highs will sit in the mid to upper 50s.
Rain continues into Monday but should taper off early in the day. As cooler air moves in, a light wintry mix is possible in a few spots. Snow levels are dropping but since the system is drying out, it looks like it won’t result in a lot of mountain snow.
Highs will only reach the upper 40s to low 50s so it will feel noticeably cooler from last week.
By Tuesday, most of the moisture has moved out. There’s a slight chance for a stray shower but I think it will be clear and chilly.
Highs will be in the mid 40s to low 50s for the next few days which is near normal for mid-November.
