Rain clears out of Central Oregon, the rest of the week expected to be mild and dry

BEND, Ore (KTVZ) -
Rain has cleared out of Central Oregon and drier conditions are expected for the rest of the week. Skies will see a mixture of clouds and sun.
Central Oregon was not highly impacted by the strong Atmospheric River event; Most areas saw less than a tenth of an inch but Sunriver saw as much and 0.30”.
The Atmospheric River continues to impact the region, but it has moved further north and the main flow of moisture is now directed at northwest Washington. Make sure to check road conditions and the local forecast if you are planning to travel at any point for the remainder of the week.
Highs for the rest of the week will be roughly 20 degrees above normal for this time of year. The seasonal average is 41 while highs will hit the lower 60s in some areas. We are tracking the potential to tie or break records through the coming days.
Happy Wednesday. Have a nice day.
