Mountain snow wraps up today, clearing into the weekend
Mountain snow continues this Thursday, with the Cascades picking up another 3 to 7 inches by the end of the day.
The Winter Storm Warning expires at 4pm, but travel through the mountain passes will remain impacted. Keeping an emergency kit in your vehicle is strongly recommended.
Overnight lows drop into the teens and 20s, but conditions stay dry.
Skies are clearing out just in time for the weekend.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny across Central Oregon, with highs in the mid 40s. It will be a beautiful winter day to get outside!
The dry stretch ahead is thanks to a ridge of high pressure building over the Pacific Northwest.
Temperatures trend warmer into the weekend and beyond, with 50s returning this weekend and some spots nearing 60 by mid-next week, which could lead to some snowmelt in the mountains.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
