Patchy freezing fog this Monday morning

KTVZ-TV

Another chilly start out there with areas of freezing fog and low clouds through the morning. Be prepared for reduced visibility out on the roads along with some slick spots.

We might see improvement this afternoon in the lower elevations, but the gray and gloom could still hang on through Monday.

A strong high pressure system is keeping the air from mixing, so we’ve been stuck in this same pattern since the weekend. Mt. Bachelor and other higher elevations above the fog should continue seeing sunny skies.

Highs will reach the 40s and 50s today, but areas stuck under fog may stay a bit cooler.

An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect through Tuesday afternoon, which means air quality may be impacted at times.

Dry weather sticks around through the work week. We may see our next chance for rain or snow next weekend, so we’ll keep you updated as it gets closer.
