Mostly dry today, light rain/snow possible tomorrow

Mostly dry conditions continue this Monday with a slight chance for a passing shower.

We’re starting off a bit warmer this morning than we did over the weekend. If you’re out the door around 7–9 AM, plan for temps ranging from the upper 20s to the upper 30s.

We’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies today with afternoon highs reaching the mid to upper 40s.

An Air Quality Alert remains in effect until 10am for Deschutes County due to stagnant air. We are tracking a pattern change that should bring better mixing and improved air quality.

Tuesday starts out dry, but there’s a chance for light rain/snow showers for the High Desert by the late afternoon and evening timeframe.

Temperatures will continue to warm up through the week. By Thursday or Friday, highs will reach the low 50s again.

Mountain snow returns soon, and ski resorts will definitely be happy about it! Snow chances increase through midweek and into the end of the work week.

Central Oregon has a few chances for precipitation this week. Nothing looks like a major storm or widespread snow, but it’s nice to see some wet weather back in the forecast.
