Mostly quiet week ahead with near normal temperatures

KTVZ-TV

Happy Monday!

Aside from a few stray showers possible early this morning, Monday looks mostly dry.

The mountains finally picked up some snow over the weekend, bringing decent accumulations to the resorts.

If you’re heading out between 7 and 9 this morning, temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s. Roads may be wet, with a few areas of black ice and patchy fog.

This afternoon, highs climb into the low to mid 40s under mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday stays dry and breezy with a mix of clouds and sunshine.

Wednesday turns partly to mostly cloudy. We’re watching a disturbance passing south of the area that could bring some light snow early in the day. If anything falls, it would most likely be a dusting.

Not much changes heading into Thursday. We remain dry, with temperatures warming a few degrees.

Friday looks like a transition day before a rain and snow mix arrives over the weekend. We’re not looking at much accumulating snow.

Overall, temperatures stay in the 40s this week, which is right near normal for this time of year.
