Foggy start to Sunday, mountain snow Monday
Sunday will start off with fog and mist. The temperature readings will be above freezing so only afoew pockets may see some icy roads. There may be a few pockets of sub-freezing conditions south of Lava Butte and west to Sisters. Travel issues will be a concern early in the day due to the reduced visibility and slick roads.
The chance for some rain and snow will be light, but wet roads and mist is not expected to get scoured out quickly. There is a Dense Fog Advisory through Sunday morning, with some area seeing less than a quarter mile of visibility.

Snow is expected to be light, if at all, across the Cascades today, but will return on President's Day. Monday and Tuesday will see some snow accumulating to nearly 6" to 9" by the time all is said and done Tuesday evening.

There will be a persistent pattern of rain and snow mixed this week as an area of low pressure decides to stall out across west coast. Periods of light snow will traverse Central Oregon until Friday. The snow is not expected, at this time, to be more than an inch or so across the high desert, all total, by Friday.
Mountains will be seeing more accumulating snow all week, with the resorts finally getting some steady snow for several days.
