Local Alert Weather Day: Heads up for High Desert snow

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the east slopes of the Cascades until 10am. This mainly impacts the mountain passes.
Snow showers will move across the High Desert today, anywhere from a trace to a few inches.

Most snow showers will wrap up earlier today though a few lingering pockets are possible into the early evening. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 30s. Warmer spots in Jefferson County may reach the upper 30s to low 40s.
Tomorrow will be dry and chilly with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies across the High Desert.
Some areas could see a brief round of snow early Saturday. Otherwise it will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the 40s.
More precipitation arrives Sunday and with warmer air in place it will mainly fall as rain. Some snow could mix in during the early morning and again after sunset. Monday stays active with a chance for mixed showers.
