Staying dry Friday, weekend warming with a few showers

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Icy and slick conditions are possible in a few spots this morning, so please use caution. Skies cleared overnight, allowing temperatures to drop into the teens and 20s.

Today stays dry and chilly across the High Desert with mostly sunny skies. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 30s to low 40s.

Tonight, temperatures fall back into the teens and 20s under mostly cloudy skies.

The dry period won’t last long. Clouds increase later today ahead of a brief round of snow/mix Saturday morning. This system moves out by mid-morning and will only bring a light dusting.

Temperatures warm up through the weekend. Highs reach the low to mid 40s Saturday, then climb into the mid 40s to low 50s on Sunday.

Sunday looks cloudy with a mix of rain and snow. More wet weather arrives Monday, but with milder air in place, it will be mainly rain with on-and-off showers.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
