Dry pattern taking over, warming trend

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Expect drier conditions ahead as high pressure builds over Central Oregon today. A few lingering showers are possible early Wednesday, but after that the forecast stays quiet.

Clouds will clear through the day, giving way to mostly sunny skies. Highs reach the low to mid 40s this afternoon.

Overnight lows will dip into the teens and 20s under partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures continue to warm up later this week, making it feel more like spring. Thursday climbs into the mid 50s, with upper 50s on Friday.

If you’ve been waiting to make outdoor plans, the next few days will be a good window.

Heading into the weekend, highs stay in the low to mid 50s. We’re watching a system that could bring spotty showers south of us, but for Central Oregon, expect partly cloudy to partly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday.

March begins on Sunday, marking the start of meteorological spring. March, April, and May are considered spring months for weather records.

Have a great Wednesday!
