Dry and mild Tuesday, rain and mountain snow returns tomorrow

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - We have another dry and mild day ahead before some changes arrive overnight.

Temperatures turn more spring-like, with highs reaching the upper 50s to low 60s. Clouds increase ahead of the next system.

A cold front moves through on Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures in the 40s and increasing southwest winds. Expect cool, breezy conditions with mainly rain.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Cascades on Wednesday. Snow levels stay above 4,500 feet, so lower elevations see mainly rain or a wintry mix. Mountain passes could be slick, so plan for winter driving conditions.

Little to no snow accumulation is expected. Overnight lows stay above freezing, but we still could see some patchy ice in parts of Southern and Western Deschutes.

We could see a few lingering showers Thursday, but overall it looks mostly dry, with cooler highs in the mid to upper 40s. On Friday, highs will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Warmer temperatures return this weekend, with highs approaching the 60s Saturday and Sunday under partly to mostly sunny skies.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!
