Street Dog Hero welcomes 48 dogs flown to Bend from crowded Oklahoma shelter by ‘Dog Is My Copilot’

Street Dog Hero had another special flight arrive Wednesday at Bend Municipal Airport with 48 dogs rescues from a crowded shelter in Norman, Oklahoma. This is the second of four flights the Bend nonprofit plans this year with Dog Is My Copilot, a nonprofit organization committed to transporting animals by plane from communities with overcrowded shelters.
