Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 5.23.18

KTVZ

Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
Fairly heavy amounts of mid-level moisture moving in over some warm daytime highs will deliver rain showers and a chance of thunderstorms to most of Central Oregon this afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and NW breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Rain showers are likely overnight along with lows in the low to mid 50’s and light and variable winds.
A chance of rain showers will stay with us for the next couple of days, but there is some good news for the Memorial Day weekend ahead. We will be seeing clearing skies with highs warming to near 80 degrees by Monday.
In the NewsChannel 21 Weather Center, I’m Bob Shaw…
HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
