Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 6.14.18
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
We are anticipating a pretty mild day today, but a light flow out of the NW will keep our daytime highs a little below average. Under mostly clear skies those highs will range from the mid 60’s to low 70’s. NW breezes will pick up to 5-15 mph this afternoon. Skies will stay mostly clear tonight. Lows will be in the low to mid 40’s. After a gusty evening, NW winds will settle to 5-10 mph.
We will see a modest increase in our cloud cover Friday and our temps will stay a little below our average of 75 degrees. The next system will begin to press in Saturday. Clouds will thicken. Westerly winds will pick up and we will develop a 30% chance of seeing rain showers. Rain is likely Saturday night and we will retain a 30-40% chance of showers all day Sunday. Temps will begin to warm a bit Monday, but we will cling to a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. We will then shake off the storm activity and temps will climb back into the mid 80’s Tuesday and Wednesday.
