KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

A gorgeous day today on the high desert with temperatures in the 70’s across the region.

It is a bit breezy out there this afternoon with winds out of the northwest at 5-15 MPH.

We should see those winds die down as we make our way into the overnight hours.

We are seeing smokey skies in Jefferson County due to the Graham Fire at times.

Overnight tonight as temperatures cool off we could see that smoke settle in and see smokey skies waking up on Sunday.

Tonight lows will be in the 40s.

There is an area of high pressure that has settled in over much of the Pacific Northwest keeping us warm and dry for this weekend.

Tomorrow looks to be a hot one with temperatures in the upper 80s to 90s in Central Oregon.

Then we will wee that area of high pressure begin to break down just a bit overnight Sunday into Monday.

Clouds will push into the valley and there is a chance for some isolated showers in the Cascades Sunday night.

Monday things will cool down just a bit for us and will be breezy as well with winds out of the northwest at 5-10 mph gusting up to 25 mph.

Lots of sunshine in store for the coming week as we see summer like weather an temperatures in the 70s to 80s.
