Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM

Happy Friday evening, everyone!
Our Air Quality Alert has been dropped for the time being and our Fire Weather or Red Flag Warning expired this morning. Right now, air quality levels are between ‘moderate’ and ‘good’. We’re expecting better air quality levels overnight, but will still be left with some haze.
Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 40s. Those in Sunriver or La Pine will see overnight lows in the 30s, so bundle up plants if you’re concerned! Mostly clear skies are on the way with hazy conditions.
Saturday brings mostly sunny skies with some haze, but we’ll still see decent air quality levels. Be mindful of how dry it is throughout the region — we’re very much in the thick of fire season. Highs for Saturday will be in the mid to upper 80s and lower 90s. Winds will be light out of the north around 15 miles per hour.
Sunday sees changes by the second half of the day. We will see a few clouds overhead and hazy skies will roll back into the region. We have a slight chance for a few thunderstorms overnight Sunday into Monday. Daytime highs will still be warm in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
We begin next week with hazy skies, but warm temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows will also be above average in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
