Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 9.7.18
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
Smoke and heat. Both will be factors for many of us all day today. We will see a gradual increase in some clouds, as well. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80’s. Winds will be coming out of the SW a pick up to a breezy 10-20 mph this afternoon. Expect partly cloudy skies tonight to be accompanied by a smoky haze and westerly breezes at 5-10 mph. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
While we will see plenty of sunshine this weekend, the passage of a cold front will leave us with cooler temps. Highs will range from the mid 70’s to low 80’s. A low pressure center that will lock down over the British Columbia coast will set us up for an even cooler air flow going into next week. Temps in the upper 60’s to low 70’s will settle in Monday and stay with us through the week. Overnight lows will be dropping into the 30’s. Look for a slight chance of some scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday.
