Tarleton State earns 70-63 win over UT Arlington to open WAC

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Led by Lue Williams’ 21 points, the Tarleton State Texans defeated the UT Arlington Mavericks 70-63 on Thursday. The Texans are now 7-6 with the victory and the Mavericks dropped to 5-9 after the Western Athletic Conference opener for both teams.
