Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
We’re seeing increasing clouds up from the south this evening. Moisture is being pulled up from northern California and northern Nevada. Some locations in southern Deschutes and Crook counties will see some rain showers as activity moves to the east.
We’re looking at overcast skies by midnight and will stay cloudy through the morning. Because of the clouds our overnight lows will be a little warmer than we were this morning. We’ll see lows in the low to mid 30s. Winds will be out of the west around 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Tomorrow will see a clearing trend from the morning to the afternoon, so by lunchtime we’ll see mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be chilly for daytime highs topping out in the 50s and lower 60s. Winds will pick up in the afternoon gusting 25 miles per hour ahead of the next system.
Overnight into Friday we’ll see partly cloudy skies into the morning. Clouds will roll in by the late morning into the early afternoon. Showers will follow and should arrive to Central Oregon by noon. Highs for Friday will be cool with this wet system. Temperatures will peak in the low to mid 50s, so bundle up for Friday night football! Bring the rain coat too, because we’ll be seeing showers.
Showers stick around through the overnight into Saturday morning. Outdoor activities will be wet Saturday morning and cool. By the afternoon showers will taper off and we’ll be seeing mostly cloudy skies. Highs for Saturday will be in the low to mid 50s.
Sunday will see mostly sunny skies and highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.
