Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

Expect another calm, cold night as we’ll see light winds and clear skies. This morning many of us started in the teens and 20s across Central Oregon creating some slick road conditions and a frosty start. We won’t be as cold tomorrow morning, but still quite chilly. Temperatures will dip into the mid 20s for overnight lows, which is below average by about 5 degrees.

We wake up to sunshine once again tomorrow as high pressure sits overhead. We’ll see clear skies throughout the day and a nice warm up. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 60s and lower 70s once again. Our average daytime high is 64 degrees at Roberts Field.

Temperatures keep climbing as we go through the week ahead. Highs will peak in the mid 70s by the end of the week. We’re still looking at mostly sunny skies through this time and zero chance for precipitation. Skies will remain clear and conditions will remain VERY dry across Central Oregon.

ALL of Deschutes County is in an “extreme drought” while Crook and Jefferson Counties are seeing “severe drought” and “extreme drought” conditions.
