Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 11.5.18
Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
With lows dropping to freezing a bit below this morning, we got off to a pretty chilly start to the day. Many had to clear frost from the windshield before departing, but these temps are not out of the ordinary for this time of year. Skies will stay mostly clear today and highs will reach the low to mid 50’s; again, pretty average. Look for westerly breezes at 5-10 mph.
With temps dropping into the 20’s for all of us tonight, we will be a little closer to our average of 28 degrees (official records are kept from data at Roberts Field at the Redmond Airport.). Skies will be partly cloudy and those gentle breezes will turn SW.
Colder temps tonight will introduce a few colder days through the middle of the week. We will see plenty of sunshine for the next few days, but highs will only reach the low 50’s at best. Overnight lows will drop to the low 20’s. That means that many will fall well into the teens.
We will cling to mostly sunny skies this weekend and temps will get back to average.
