Crook County seeks donors for Holiday Partnership fundraiser

KTVZ

The Crook County Public Health Department as the lead agency for the Crook County Holiday Partnership Project wants to remind everyone that we have scheduled our 2 nd Annual Fund Raiser and Silent Auction event for Monday, Dec. 3 at Meadow Lakes Golf Course Restaurant from 5-8 p.m.

The Holiday Partnership Project supports households within Crook County that are less fortunate and who qualify based on income eligibility with Food and Gifts at Christmas time. Gifts are distributed to children under the age of 18, seniors and disabled individuals and food boxes are given to anyone who is eligible. Last year alone we distributed nearly 900 food boxes and our volunteers individually wrapped over 7500 gifts.

In 2017 we raised a profit of $2500 from our fund raiser and silent auction. This year we hope to double that as the need in our community continues to increase. The fundraiser offers door prizes, raffle prizes, giving trees with gift tags, silent auction and light appetizers and so much more. The event opens at 5:00 pm, the bids close at 7:30 pm at which time the prizes will be awarded, and payment will be collected. Bring your appetites and your wallets, share in the giving experience, and enjoy the company of our Health Department staff and friends from around our county. It is a fun and exciting experience. All of the items for auction are donated.

Come see what you can’t live without and if your business, organization or you as an individual has something to donate please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at the numbers listed below.
