Bend Fire Dept. shifts child safety seat clinics location

KTVZ

The Bend Fire Department has been sponsoring monthly Child Passenger Safety Seat Clinics for several years, at our West Fire Station. Because of traffic conflict with a major construction project in the area, we are moving the location of the monthly clinic to the North Fire Station, 63377 Jamison Street, from now until the end of 2019.

The next car seat clinic will be held on Monday, November 19, from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm. Our clinics are scheduled on the third Monday of every month,

The vast majority of child passenger safety seats are not installed correctly, and these clinics are operated by certified technicians who can correct mistakes and improve the safety of your child.

These are free clinics, held at the fire station, and they are popular and informative. Please set aside enough time for a thorough check of the seat, and remember that you may have to wait a little for those in front of you.
