Sunday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening and happy Sunday!

Another sunny and crisp fall day out there for us across the high desert.

We saw temperatures top out in the upper 40s to low 50s across the region today.

We also have that air stagnation advisory in effect, meaning we are not seeing a lot of movement in the area surrounding us which is trapping pollutants close to the ground, so do be careful if you are headed outside and you are sensitive to air pollution.

Overnight tonight we will once again see temperatures drop down into the teens for much of Central Oregon, its going to be another cold start to this upcoming week.

Tomorrow highs will be in the mid to upper 40s and low 50s.

There is also a chance that we could see some patchy fog to start the day on Monday and even Tuesday morning, which could make for some slick spots on the roads to start the day.

This area of high pressure that is in place will begin to break down as we head into Tuesday and Wednesday, as we will see clouds build in and a chance for showers across the region on Wednesday.

Temperatures are going to stay cool throughout the upcoming week topping out in the upper 40s to low 50s.

It looks like we have about a 50 percent chance that we will see some showers on Thanksgiving this week.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend Central Oregon!
