A 25-year-old New Jersey woman died and five others were injured in a head-on crash on Tualatin Valley Highway west of Portland on Saturday night.

At about 7 p.m.. the driver of a 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat was driving west on Tualatin Valley Highway near Northwest 341st Avenue in the Cornelius area when the Dodge crossed over the center median and crashed head-on into a 2003 Honda Accord.

Al Hera Islam, a passenger in the Honda, died at the hospital.

The other three passengers in the Honda, two men and a woman, have life-threatening injuries. The two passengers in the Dodge were injured but are expected to survive.

High speed may have been a factor in the crash, according to investigators, who say criminal charges may be filed in the future.
