KTVZ

Good morning Central Oregon and happy Friday!

We should see snow continue to fall over the mountains and passes through Saturday morning. The current system we are under will begin to clear up Saturday morning and give us dry conditions and partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures this morning are similar to what we had on Thursday.

If you’re headed to work today you can expect mild temperatures in the mid- to high-40s with wind out of the south 10-15 miles per hour. Wind gust could be up to 25 miles per hour, with mostly cloudy skies this morning and a good chance of rain going into this evening.

Overnight lows will be significantly cooler than Thursday night, ranging from the high teens to mid-20s.

Some areas across Central Oregon will be almost 10 degrees cooler tonight, so you may want to use caution if you’re driving tomorrow morning, the roads may be slick.

On our extended forecast we still see a clearing up over the weekend, with temperatures in the 40s.

A slight chance of rain returns Monday and may stick with us through the week.
