Three C.O. post offices open Sundays before Christmas

Many post offices in Oregon and southwest Washington will be open for retail services on Sundays during the month of December leading up to Christmas, including three in Central Oregon, according to Portland District Manager William Schwartz.

“We realize many of our customers may not be able to get to a post office during the normal work week,” Schwartz said. “Providing Sunday service in many post offices will assist those customers.”

Customers will be able to pick-up parcels and make retail postal purchases at various locations, including:

Bend Main Post Office, 2300 NE 4 th St., Bend OR, Dec. 16 and 23, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., parcel pickup.

La Pine Post Office, 51649 Huntington Rd., La Pine OR, Dec. 16 and 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., parcel pickup.

Redmond Post Office, 618 NW Hemlock Ave., Redmond OR, Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., parcel pickup.
