Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 12.5.18
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
While a few clouds may be sent in our direction by that major storm in California our biggest challenge today will be the patchy, freezing fog that will be dense in some areas. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s with northerly breezes at 5-10 mph. Some clearing this afternoon will be followed by partly cloudy skies tonight with more fog developing. Breezes will calm and lows will drop back into the teens.
This pattern will repeat itself Thursday and Friday. The next system will push in late Friday bringing a slight chance of snow showers Friday night. That system will also usher in more normal temperatures for this time of year, taking us back into the low 40’s for daytime highs. A chance of mixed showers will stay with us through the weekend and into next week. This will also be a nice snow event for Mt Bachelor, but no estimates of snowfall are available, yet, because the system is still developing well off over the Pacific.
