Sunday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

Another cold and breezy day on the High Desert as showers are beginning to fall in the Cascades and Central Oregon is looking that the potential for some precipitation this evening as well.

With this system that is moving through it looks like we will be getting a mixed bag of weather across the region.

Rain showers should start up first followed by the potential for some freezing rain tonight as well.

Some areas may see a rain/snow mix out there, and in the upper elevations you can expect to see snow showers this evening.

These showers will move through the area fairly quickly though as the clouds will start to break up a bit overnight.

Overnight tonight lows will be in the mid to upper 20s, so with the precipitation that is moving through Central Oregon do be careful if you are headed out on the roads this evening or when you are headed out the door Monday morning.

We are going to see slick conditions tomorrow morning with this moisture moving through the region and temperatures dipping below freezing.

Tomorrow it looks like things are going to stay dry for much of the day on Monday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Monday night into Tuesday there is the potential that we could see some more rain and snow for parts of Central Oregon.

We will continue to see chances for rain and snow throughout the week ahead with temperatures topping out int eh low to mid 40s this week.

Have a great rest of your weekend Central Oregon!
