KTVZ

Bend police, acting on a tip, raided a northwest Bend four-plex unit on Wednesday, seized psilocybin mushrooms and arrested a 26-year-old resident on several drug charges.

Officers received information Tuesday that indicated Denver William Lee was growing and selling psilocybin mushrooms, Sgt. Robert Jones said.

Police applied for and were granted a search warrant, which they served Wednesday at a four-plex unit in the 1000 block of Northwest Portland Avenue, Jones said.

During the raid, officers found psilocybin mushrooms in various stages of growth, the sergeant said, along with evidence of their distribution.

Officers contacted and arrested Lee during the raid and he was taken to the Deschutes County Jail, where he was held on $75,000 bail on drug possession, manufacture and delivery charges.
